The High Pass Filter in Photoshop may be used to take photos that have been sharpened, but this filter also has another use, which is to even out skin tones. I am aware that several filters, such as blur, surface blur, and others, may even out skin tones. However, you can take this (High Pass) filter in addition to them. In this Quick Tip, I'll demonstrate how to carry out the aforementioned task.

Step 1 : Duplicate the background.

Step 7: Select Eraser Tool. Set its Hardness to 5% and Opacity to 17%

Step 8:  Finally, paint over the eyes, lips, hair and unwanted area with the Eraser Tool to sharpen them, Because I don't want to make them soft due to the perfect look. When you are going to paint, you can adjust the eraser size with square brackets "[ ]"  at your convenience.

This is the final result.

Utilizing a High Pass filter in such a way makes the picture smoothing simple, and the results are of professional quality. This filter is one of my absolute favourites.
